Hier sollen Dokumente zum Herunterladen bereitgestellt werden, die relevant waren bzw. sind im Bereich der von FRANK RINN entwickelten Nadel-Bohrwiderstandsmessung: Präsentationen, Ankündigungen, Patente, Publikationen und (auf vielfachen Wunsch) auch öffentliche Unterlagen und Urteile aus den Gerichtsverfahren (in denen vergeblich versucht wurde, die Marke RESISTOGRAPH® aus dem Register löschen zu lassen oder in denen Markenmissbrauch verurteilt wurde) - denn aufgrund des jahrelangen und z.T. noch andauernden Plagiarismus herrscht bei vielen noch Unklarheit darüber, wer dieses Verfahren eigentlich erfunden und entwickelt, wer welche Nachweise und Fortschritte erzielt und wer es am Markt etabliert hat. Spätestens Patente, Gerichts-Dokumente/Entscheidungen und Unterlassungserklärungen sollten eindeutige Klarheit bringen, wer hier was erfunden/entwickelt hat und wer plagiiert.

Here, documents shall be provided for download, that have been interesting and relevant in connection with needle-resistance drilling as developed by FRANK RINN: presentations, publications, patents, announcements, and (due to many requests) public documents and decicions from the court cases that failed to have RESISTOGRAPH® removed from the list of registered trademarks and from cases where plagiarism was judged - because in consequence of the ongoing plagiarism, there seems to be still a lot of confusion about who invented/developed this method, who provided proofs of the concept, who achieved which advancements of the method and its application, who established it on the market. At least the patents, court documents/decisions as well as the cease and desist declarations should clarify here who invented&developed and who plagiarized.

Physics Diploma Thesis on the Basics of Needle Resistance Drilling

Im August 1986 begann FRANK RINN seine Physik-Diplomarbeit am Institut für Umweltphysik der Universität Heidelberg, deren anwendungsbezogene Analysen in der Abteilung Dendro-Chronologie des Instituts für Botanik der Universität Hohenheim erfolgten. Dort erfolgte im Februar 1988 auch die offizielle Vorstellung der Ergebnisse. Die Diplomarbeit wurde mit der bestmöglichen Note bewertet und legte den Grundstein für alle nachfolgenden Weiterentwicklungen des Verfahrens. Anfangs wurden 4 Kurven pro Bohrung aufgezeichnet: Leistung des Dreh- und Vorschub-Motors beim Ein- und Ausfahren. Dann zeigte sich, dass die Leistung des Bohrmotors bei konstantem Vorschub am besten mit der Holzdichte korrelierte.

In August 1986, FRANK RINN started with his Diploma Thesis at the Institute for Environmental Physics of Heidelberg University (Germany). The practical measurements, he carried out at the Department for Dendro-Chronology, Institute for Botany, Hohenheim University, where the results were presented in Feb 1988. The diploma thesis was rated with the best possible grade and set the ground for all further developments of the method. Originally, 4 profiles were measured per drilling: motor power of rotating and feeding motor going in and out. The results showed that when the feed rate is constant, the drilling motor power correlates best with wood density at the tip of the needle while penetrating wood.

Im September 1993 hat FRANK RINN die RESISTOGRAPH® Bohrwiderstandsmessung auf veschiedenen Konferenzen und Veranstaltungen in USA (Knoxville/TN, Oak Ridge / TN, Pullman/WA, Reno / NV, Madison / WI, ...) und Kanada (Ottawa, Vancouver, ...) vorgestellt, erklärt und damit sowie Bäume und Hölzer untersucht.

In September 1993, FRANK RINN presented RESISTOGRAPH® resistance drilling on several conferences and meetings in USA (Knoxville/TN, Oak Ridge / TN, Pullman/WA, Reno / NV, Madison / WI, ...) and Canada (Ottawa, Vancouver, ...), demonstarted, explained, and inspected trees and timber.
